After that, unload the vehicle just like you would an LAV with infantry inside. The vehicle will immediately drop the supplies on the selected location. The supplies will display a circle; this is the radius in which units must stand in in order to resupply, repair and get healed back up. The supplies will also display a number; this is the amount of supplies remaining in that pile.

Also, retreating cargo units back to base lets you call them back, and you can bring in infantry with them as well, so dont loose them.
