So why do flares that way?

I mean, I don't hate it. It'll stop (mostly) Chopper spam and Jet spam. But I would like to know the idea behind it

That's what I'm thinking, perhaps it's to combat chopper spam, seeing how they're pretty strong as it is already. If they're going to be automated they'll have to cut the flares down so you'll have to resupply the choppers more.

there's only 10 charges for Choppers. I do think Supply choppers should have more. But yeah. Wargame had chopper spam bad

I like it, reminds me of the WiC mod MW2 chopper gameplay. A lot of the tactics there work here too.

yeah, choppers seem to be extremely powerful but the trade off is you need to watch them and baby sit them
