1. Goto https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net48
2. Download and install the latest DotNET runtime.
3. Start game.

when I click on the download link, the browser indicates that the address is invalid, after checking on firefox, the site seems overloaded, it seems that the majority of microsoft sites malfunction for me

... well, then try googlebinging "DotNET runtime download" and use a secure website, you trust. OR, navigate to your Steam folder and find the installer there:

~\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\DotNet\

Microsoft websites do not 'malfunction'. They are not 'overloaded'. They are the most secure and responsive on the web ... because they have to be. They serve a million users an hour ... much like YouTube.

You seem to have more issues than the average PC user. You may have issues with:

A) your PC
B) your Internet
C) your Web browser
D) your ISP

I do not know. I cannot help you.

Also. You might want to update your Windows PC via Settings > Update. The latest DotNET framework version will be automatically installed, if it is not present.

1: the official installation link does not work either, I have no problem connecting

2: There are no files named Steamworks Shared on my computer

3: theses option also seems missing from my computer

I tried updating windows and got the same error.
I report having the same problem for the second demo. I think I'll pay an informatician to fix the problem. I just hope this won't be too recurring an issue for the rest of the playerbase

try opening your dos command prompt and type in sfc /scannow. See if you have any corruption in your operating system core files.

Ive had those problems before but they were along time ago on win 7 and win xp. fixing them on xp, had me using a netfx removal tool to uninstall all the frameworks and redownload the on a hard lined computer, so there wouldnt be any risk of a corrupt .net install. For 7 it was usually a deepseated problem. Probably a corrupt install. I just reinstalled 7. Now 10 is pretty much self automated. I if there is a problem like this. It's a serious one. And you may have to consider either running a repair install/refresh, running the startup troubleshooter console, or try a system restore. All I know is that your registry keys pertaining to .netfx may have been tinkered with, the previous installs may have been corrupt, or your services are messed up. And it could be because of a bad net connection. But also. if your other computer is having the same problem. Then chances are high that when you updated one of your computers, you didnt turn off the -update from any source- option in the delivery method. So one computer downloaded its updates from your other computer, which was already screwed. Remember. It's always best to download windows updates from the source. Not nearby computers running the same 10 or 11 versions.

I thank you for these proposals, they will certainly be useful to the community, unfortunately, I do not have the level of mastery necessary to carry out this procedure without risk

Thats nothing to be ashamed of. Most people aren't computer nerds. And its said this newest generation of kids are even more computer iliterate than the last.... They don't know their way around file explorer or how to create a new folder. A teacher had to sit down with each of her students, one at a time, and slowly walk them through the concept of simply creating a "new folder".
