I need to know how much money to save for full release. What is the business model here? One game and season pass or one full game and tons of add ons?

Regarding Slitherines recent pricing policy, prepare for 60 US Dollars for the base game. If it is less, we can all be happy. DLCs will come for sure but since the base game isn't even released yet, the DLCs will be way further down the road.

Planned in 2023. And the DLC politic is the following: IF the game should sell good, you could expect one or two DLCs a year. There won't be any copy&paste of units like in other RTS, but 90% unique new models for new nations. Nothing set in stone, but it is very likely that China could be DLC number one.

This is all speculation and I think they are still aiming for a 2023 release. But unless they decide for an Early Access release, I am more convinced it will be 2024 considering the state of the game. Lots of things are still to do, the Russians as a playable faction don't even seem to be presentable to the public as of yet.

I like the game already but there is obviously still quite a lot to do. To put it differently, you will have a lot of time to save up for the game ;)

I am going to assume and say that the game will cost something between 23 and 29 euros plus a few major DLCs released later on, perhaps playable nations ?

That would be a fair deal to me and I would agree. Especially since I could choose what nations I would want to buy.

I would be happy if game cost will not goo too high the same with DLC. Can be many over time but please with right prices. Do not try business model and greed what SEGA/CA doing with Total War games.

Problem is, we all live through an inflation right now.
As much as I like all these RTS games, everything above 30 bucks max, is just too expensive in my opinion. I can feed my whole family for a week for 50 bucks.

For each country/region, they usually set their own prices taking into account solvency, average wages and prices for similar products. In addition, the price at the start and subsequently may differ.
