They really only do this big of a update like once a year if you can not complete what you want to do in that amount of time when most multiplayer servers reset what every 3-6 months, and you want to get mad at the devs for adding more content? like i'm not sure I understand your issue here
Updates :
1.) Gloomrot
2.) Official 1.0 Release
3.) Planned But Not Defined - Updated
Three Planned Updates :

Their moderator was telling everyone, including me, that incompatible saves were no longer an issue with the official 1.0 release. We were lied to. I wasted 300+ hours.
I play this game mainly for the base building. The combat is great, but designing and roaming a grand castle is the best part for me. Base building is clearly a major focus of the game as well. I also do not play on multiplayer servers. I have played a bit with a friend, but that was the extent of my multiplayer with this game. I, as well as the vast majority of the player base, play Solo PvE. I didn't know I was buying a Rust game. Had I know that, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. But this is all beside the point. We were explicitly told that incompatible saves would no longer occur post 1.0 but now we are being told that we will have to start again due to current saves being incompatible with the next update. I have no choice but to assume this will continue to happen with each update. The fact is, we were blatantly lied to. How can I trust a dev team that has no problem lying to their community? Why should I take their word going forward? Honesty is apparently not one of their policies and that does not inspire confidence. It is a huge slap in the face and I don't like it one bit.
Building in general needs love. I shouldn't have to disassemble the upper floors completely in order to remodel floors below bc of 'cannot break path to ground'. Not on single player or a private server anyways.
Would like to see this also. Mods are lacking and I'd really love some build mode mods, and maybe even more decor/build item mods.
