I can't comment on specific features unless we've announced them already, but you can expect a whole lot more info on what's going to be in 1.1 very, very soon. I think you'll find them really interesting.
I'll sleep in my favorite coffin, while you get things done but I look forward a more consistent VRising experience (That same experience which made us love this game so much!) once this is all done.
Do you have a road map of like when will our saves be safe from getting incinerated by the sun's gaze due to all the dusting, renovations and window lifting that's being done?
P.s. would offline saves be affected to?
I absolutely love this game and I always bought any cosmetics to support you guys, but its really frustrating to start a new save, when I just want to progress in my main world.
More thought and effort should have been put into "What can we do to avoid the necessity of a clean save". What are the reasons a clean save is absolutely necessary? Is it the new weapons? The map addition? Changes to existing weapons? Losing a castle or a few items as a result is a much better compromise (and at least more understandable) than having to start from scratch.
EDIT: I'd recommend delaying the update to get this done without save wiping.
