you might actually wanna learn how to read, then you might realize that i wasn't even mentioning the wipe, just 3 major annoyances they brought in, just one example per update
I did read in fact - your 3 annoyances.
hey, we saw you were having fun building big castles...
we can't have you do that, there's tiny plots where you can build towers instead!
1. You're only person I know that is still complaining about the territory/vertical building system added now over 2 years ago with Gloomrot, if it's still bugging you now why are you here in 2025?
hey we saw you were having fun with overhauling the entire game via server settings...
can't have that, here's a revised server settings page with half the possibilities for no other reason than to troll you!
2. Said server settings still exist some have been hidden and without comprehensive first hand knowledge of how to manually edit the ServerGameSettings.json you won't find these settings immediately same goes for system console commands, they're weren't removed you just need to remember what they're called to fully type them out because nothing will auto-fill for you.
As for server-settings sure a lot of player agency was removed for custom play via client single-player but clearly SLS is showing of a Multi-player focus when it comes to more extensive server customization, the DIY approach is provided in-depth via Server Setting documentation courtesy of the user "Skaap" on both the V Rising Official discord & Modding Community discord.
hey we saw you're having fun with single stat focus builds...
can't have that, here's stat caps so you'll have to spread out your stats!
3. Everyone looks at the Blood System overhaul/Stats Caps with immense dread seeing it as purely a nerf of some kind when they read "cap" alarm bells go off and everyone acts some kind vindictive Karen.
This is the 1st real attempt from SLS as studio to venture away from a more simplified MOBA/ARPG-lite experience to a more robust RPG-like system for those who are already playing the game modded with RPG systems this integration this a point of excitement rather than worry.
Not everyone enjoys single-stat builds & very likely SLS saw the popularity of RPG mods like Bloodcraft & XPRising and wanted to have a piece of that said pie.
I am not concerned rather curious of how hard said caps shall be implemented engine-side & how powerful the new blood stats are going to be contrast to what I've grown accustomed to via RPG mod systems.
So for people like you v1.1 is the Apocalypse for the rest of us the temporary Modpcalypse but otherwise not a major cause for worry certainly not one to go up in arms about.
monday releases usually are the best for both sides, players and devs, since in theory they'd have the entire working week ahead of them to fix any critical bugs etc so once the main audience starts playing on friday/saturday it will be a smooth ride, at least it used to be like this, but in this day and age i wouldn't hold my breath anymore.
2: The irony of telling me not to tell others what to do.
if everyone would be a yes-man like you there wouldn't be any viable games being made at all by now, like seriously, the community has let far too many studios go ape
so yea, maybe you should be glad that there's still a few enthusiasts that actually go through the effort to complain about developers stupid decisions, otherwise the entire marked would turn into a giant pile of
