Will there be new achievements with this new content? Can current saves (dedicated servers) be migrated to the new content or will everything have to be redone from scratch dumping hundreds of hours of gameplay?

More like, "Prepare for incompatible saves without warning and never being able to progress with future updates."

Complete the game first. No one wants to play an early access game.

totally agree , stopped playing because i had to scurry back and forth between the chests and crafting station , wasting alot of time in the process

Game is full release. I've never had issue with anything you mentioned either.
