Soulshards wont despawn

So. I own a private server with quite alot of people playing on it with the soulshard setting on 'Plentyfull'
But i've noticed that when a soulshard is dropped on the ground it will not despawn. Not even after a day or 3 and multiple server resets.

Maybe make it so that once a soul runs out of durability and is dropped on the ground instead of a pedistall, that it'll despawn. I got a few players stuck with multible shards and i'm scared it'll slow down the server eventually

Confirm even in solo self hosted game. I got soulshards, because you can't place them in storage, i just drop them in my castle. And...they just still there. No matter how much time pass.

Personally I see this as more of a feature and not a bug. I have a treasure I've started of soul shards in a cage that people can see but cant touch.
