"No response from remote host" when solo and offline!

Have been able to play just fine until after todays patch which is now greeting me with that message. Happens when I click continue or via the load option.

If I'm playing a game solo and offline then everything should contained on my PC so what exactly is requiring a remote host?

Thank you for your report. We believe the issue arises from your game not recognizing the correct IP. Please try to fix it by following these steps:

1. Fetch your IP:
Press the Windows Button on your keyboard -> Write cmd -> Write ipconfig and it should show your IP under IPv4 Address there. Usually it is something like 192.168.X.X but can be other ones as well.
Once you find it, Copy it.

2. Please try to create a server again. Once you are on the screen that shows the error, open the console.
You can open the console by pressing the ` key on your keyboard (it's right below the Esc key).
If your keyboard input is not in English, the ` key might be somewhere else, depending on your language.

3. Once you have the console opened, please write this: connect PASTE_YOUR_IP_HERE
IP should be the IP you Copied before. So, for example, connect 192.168.X.X
Press enter

Please let us know if you're able to connect after that.

Came back later on and it had decided it was going to work.

I have had this issue present since a content update yesterday. Even the above fix does not work!

Please help, I cannot play solo on any save game or start a new one!

Ngl I got this issue after just buying the game, I saw Floydson play it so I was going to give it a try and sike nope can't

connection timed out for me

Whenever you can, start your game with the LAN flag set.

This has been in the past mandatory to get solo to run correctly whilst your PC is offline.

The LAN flag is reset every load, so always remember to tick it.

Just started a new game and have been met with "no response from remote host" message.

Private game, LAN box checked and remembering why it was I didn't do more than a single run the last big update.

This game could have been great but instead its been hampered by servers and pvp
