Cant Get My Dedicated Server to Show Up

Hello,

I am having issues getting my dedicated server to show up as a selectable option. I have followed several guides to get the Steam Server setup and I can connect to it if I direct connect via the 127.0.01 protocol, but for the life of me, I cannot get it to show up in the regular server list.

I have created Port Forwarding rules in my router to allow all potential ports in, 9876, 27015, 27036, 27015-27016, 27031-27036 as well as create similar rules in Windows Firewall to allow incoming and outgoing through the same.

I have a FIOS router and they don't just ask for a Forward to Address but also a Forward to Port. Is this the issue? I pull up my personal ports via the Command Prompt and netstat -a and have been randomly selecting different ones to see if it fixes the issue.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

As an update, it seems that the Forward To Port can be the same as the Incoming Port so I have made that adjustment to my added rules.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply i solved the issue, just that i figured out what the Forward to Port values should be. Still can't see the server show up on the online list.

Your not alone, and the patch notes indicate they made changes to server code, so we might be waiting for a patch.

Awn... got it.. Just to share with you, when i changed to

"Port": 27015,
"QueryPort": 27016,

my server now show in the public list but no one can se... just me lol. Anyway, when using "9876" and "9877" I had to connect by "direct connect" and type my localhost (127.0.0.1). That way I mention first, at least I can join by the servers list directly. But for the others it still invisible :/
Also Fowart to port "27015" and "27036" (TCP) cuz I saw a guy saying steam uses this ports to host but I'm not sure if this actually helped

Finally!
After updatating "V Rising Dedicated Server" in steam, just change ports like i mention and add

"ListOnSteam": true,

in your "C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRisingServer\Settings\ServerHostSettings.json".
Put your configuration files into \LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRisingServer\Settings and start your server by "Steam\steamapps\common\VRisingDedicatedServer\VRisingServer.exe". It gonna take the configurations in the said.

Im still having issues. The loaded configuration in the actual server log is incorrect as well, showing default ports, "none" as address, and "ListOnSteam" being false.
