Skills don't appear

Hello everyone, I have such a problem: we are playing with a friend on a private server and after a new update we don't know how to open abilities. They used to open when they killed the boss, but now we don't know at all. Help, please

There's a bar on the right side that has your different options like your powers. I believe the default hotkey is J or V? At least that's what it is on my end

And how to unlock these skills?

Kill a boss, suck the boss' blood (the game will prompt you which button to hold down) and whichever spells and skills they had will unlock. You can use the V Blood menu to see which skills match each boss.

I killed boss 4 times now 8 morian nothing happens sucked the blood no skills unlocked. trying a new boss today see if ican go back and unstuck or glitch it or whatever it is
