coarse thread seems so rare

why does coarse thread seem so rare, i do know that i have to grind plants for pollen, but the drop rate on pollen is so low that i would hit 100 wild plants and get maybe 10 pollen, and i need 12 with some plant fiber to craft 1 unit of coarse thread. hitting up other players farms the drop rate on pollen is VERY low, i'm also crafting it in a tailors room with tailor's flooring. in my experience I feel that coarse thread is V Rising's rarest material even more so than gold when it should be the opposite. What am i doing wrong?

You can turn any flower into pollen with the grinder. And you can plant your plants at your castle.

Really? I go around farbane smashing chests and conducting bandit genocide and it's quite common. Are you burning through a lot of it making scrolls or something?

i have a massive farm now, so i get thousands of pollen to use with plant fiber to just make it at the castle now, plus i don't really spend too much time in farbane.

Coarse thread is useful for the upgrading of research. You'll be using it for quite some time.

I have a 'Decorative' Rose Garden with some bare floor spots. you end up being able to just harvest inside the castle and end up researching everything. Wood produces Saw dust, the Flowers and odd bushes produce flowers and plant fiber, those let you produce thread and paper (with the sawdust) thread and paper can produce the scrolls.

i find that not building anything on the first floor aside from the heart and stairs is very profitable. the nodes are regrowing. and the castle is worse than tower of pisa since all production is on 3rd floor.

That too. I mostly end up grinding sunflower and that new gloomrot herb.
