Corruption and Hard Crash

so I recently started playing the new update and The game plays fine when it starts. The problem is when I finish the session my game data seems to get corrupted. I have revalidate the game every time I want to play or the game hard crashes. No error code and completely restarts my computer. It did not do this before the Gloom Rot update. I also noticed that game seems to have issue find the game server online. Is there issue with the save data on my machine? I am not really sure what to but check the data after every session.

I like the game but I am beginning to think it is not worth the trouble of the random crashes.

are you running up to date drivers?
Did it crash with earlier drivers?
Have you tried to roll back a driver or 2?
harddrive/ssd/nvme:

Have you gotten a error message?
Does ur gpu / cpu run hot?
Have you detected any kind of Fps drop b4 the crashes?

Have you checked incase you have a faulty ram?
you could run a windows memory diagnostic test to make sure your ram isnt damaged in some way.
Press windows key and type "memory" and you should get the windows memory diagnostic test. This will take abit of time but it checks wether you have a memory error.


try a boot to safemode and see if that works.
Open the Run tool by pressing the Windows Key + R
Type msconfig and hit Enter
Go to the Services tab section
Check Hide all Microsoft services
Click the Disable all button
Click apply and restart your computer
Run the game after the restart and check if there’s still a issue.

Are you using a Antivirus program that perhaps havent excluded the game and thus making it stop?

Gpu: Geforce GTX 1660 ti
Mb: ASUS B85M-G R2.0

memory diagnostic came back with no errors.
Ssd tool came back with not errors.
All drivers up to date that I am aware of.
There is no error message when it crashes.
no other game currently installed causes crashes like this.
the crash is not constant I can play the game, when it wants to start.
crash happens after prewarming shaders when loading a saved games it get click to start then hard crashed and bio screen giver the usually stock message saying the motherboard detected a power surge and had to shut down the system. This sometimes does not come up.

if it gets to the point where the game starts I will usually be able to play as long as like. It is starting the game that is the problem. I tried creating a new and same issue keeps happening. have not tried safemode and game won't allow me to runt he exe as admin

Do you have the steam installed on one harddrive and the game on the other? A friend had an issue that occurred when he didnt install it on the same harddrive?

Your specc should be able to run the game without errors.

I state again: Make a bug report post about this so the devs can see it. There are other people having this bug and the devs can use this information to fix it, it is not a hardware issue. Someone else I know is having this same exact issue with the same exact results. The more people reporting it means higher chances of it being fixed.

steam program is installed the normal drive the games are run off the SSD drive.

Weird observation. If let the game run for at least 5 minutes before trying to load a saved game it seems to start properly. I have not idea why but it worked the last 5 times in a row.

The Issue was solved. My power supply was drying. I replaced it and now the game works fine.
