Corruption and Hard Crash

so I recently started playing the new update and The game plays fine when it starts. The problem is when I finish the session my game data seems to get corrupted. I have revalidate the game every time I want to play or the game hard crashes. No error code and completely restarts my computer. It did not do this before the Gloom Rot update. I also noticed that game seems to have issue find the game server online. Is there issue with the save data on my machine? I am not really sure what to but check the data after every session.

The game says server status unknown and just the backup save on my computer

I created a new save game and it worked. My old save seems to work it still has server status unknown

The game starts it only crash when loading into the world, It may be related to my power supply but it only does it to one game. The game just randomly works .

Hmm, this could be a permissions thing, like, the user you're running v rising on doesn't have write permission in one of the directories where the game saves its data. You could try running v rising as admin, see if it resolves the issue. ^^''

The crashing was not a random as expected. It always crashes at the same point after preloading the shaders and right when the words click to start appear on the screen.
usually a few seconds after that it hard crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling graphic drivers no luck. I have a feeling it is related to connection to the private server.

The unknown status on the sever info may have something to do with this as this issue only happend after I reinstalled the game for the gloomrot dlc.

Also I couldn't add admin and the game won't run at all it says steam has failed load but steam running fine in the background

Just to check do you use a samsung SSD or NVME disk?

it got rid the unknown status thing. They were my old undeleted saves. I deleted they have not effect on my current save.

There have been a numerous updates with Windows that hurt samsungs ssd´s and nvme´s . It should be fixed with the current windows update though.

But in any case if your windows hurt your ssd / nvme in any way thats a damaged harddrive non the less.

you can download the samsung magician from their website:
https://semiconductor.samsung.com/consumer-storage/magician/
Then run and ssd / nvme update check and a health check to see if you are affected by any means.

The program is easily handled and will update ur drivers for your harddrives and check the status of them.

My friend is also having this issue on a hybrid SSD/HDD drive from Seagate. It's not this gentleman's drive and is in fact a genuine bug introduced in this update. Bump so the devs can see.

Download the tool and updated firm ware of my SSD. I have not tested yet. I will do so later and update the post.

The game still crashes at the same point. I wish I knew why it crashes when it does and why sometimes it works. I like playing roulette every time I start the try to play the game.
