V Rising keeps crashing my PC

V Rising is the only game that does this to me, no other games have done this, there is no blue screen, everything just goes black (with some green streaks at the top of the monitor only, shuts down the PC, then restarts it, usually after 10 minutes, sometimes it lasted more than an hour.

device temperatures have never exceeded 60 degrees, highest Ive seen is 50 degrees, there is 4 fans in the pc, two being attached to the casing

Ive tried the Following
verified game cache on steam
game vrisingserver.exe and vrising.exe full control in permissions
game vrising.exe admin priveledges
lowered graphics down to minimum
put on v-sync (sometimes my games get too many frames and crash)
scanned for driver updates

Ive just reinstalled the game, haven't tested it yet

my PC specs are

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor 4.70 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable)
System Type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
OS Windows 11 Home
OS Build 22621.2715
Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060Ti
GPU 1 AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
Hard Drive WD Blue SN570 500Gb (its a SSD)

Mine just started too. First time in silverlight mines now game crashes as soon as the I load into the map/server.

Verify game files fixed it.

so Ive noticed a few people have been having the same issue, thanks to a RainRuby that messaged my profile, I will say about a month or less after this post I went on a hiatus that lasted until the beginning of this month.

I installed a program called DriverEasy, as Im too stupid to install driver updates without something to aid me, I updated my PC Drives thru that (I thought it was nvidia's programs that did it, but apparently theyre not the same) and came back to try again, and it was a completely different game, so I don't know if it was the DriverEasy program or something the devs did from optimization or a fix or what have you that fixed this issue I was having.

the end result that came up in my emails from the devs were that it was a problem on my PC's end and not theirs, but the problems that were crashing my PC were different everytime I was told.


if any of yall find a fix, if you send it to my profile I will post it to this thread, possibly under the EDIT if there is not some character limit or something stupid to prevent it

try going into windows settings ====> windows update =====>advanced options ======> optional updates (under additional options)


those "optional updates" usually aren't very optional if you want things to work, otherwise I wish I could help

if it helps any, the developer that took a look told me it was due to hardware problems if Im remembering correctly., about 4 months after they took a look my pc almost got bricked due to the system imaging file for windows getting corrupted, had to do a full windows 11 reinstall using a thumb drive and the bios stuff to get my pc back up and running.
