Otherwise maybe related to 3rd party programs that inject themselves to the game. Maybe an overlay too?
Wait you have a gpu that you say is a nvidia rtx 3060TI
and you say GPU 1 is a AMD. This is a integrated gpu. And if thats the case you need to make sure V rising is running from your RTX 3060 otherwise thers gonna be a whole lot of issues.
Resolution
First, make sure your desired graphics card is the main source of display in your case it should say your 3060.
Verify in Device Manager/Display Adapters if Desired Graphics Card is grayed out. Make sure to enable it in the BIOS settings or video card settings.
Connect the video cable to the Desired Graphics Card's port instead of the motherboard's back panel.(if its a laptop you can disregard this step)
To set the default GPU for your application or game, you'll need to associate your games with it so your computer will know which GPU to use. (by default the option set is Let Windows decide)
From Start Icon, type "Graphics Settings" and Click the results from System Settings.
Click Desktop App.
Browse your application. If your application is not on the list, you will need to browse for the folder where the .exe file is located.
Clickon the application name/icon.
Click Options.
Set the application to your preferred GPU.
Click save.
Right-click on your desktop.
From the menu, select NVIDIA Control Panel. If you're on Windows 11, select Show more options and then select NVIDIA Control Panel.
Inside NVIDIA Control Panel, from the bar on the left, select Manage 3D settings.
Click Program Settings.
Under Select a program to customize, select Add. This will open a limited list of your programs.
In the Add window, click on Browse.
Go to the file location you discovered in the previous section and then select the game file.
Click Open. Now your game will appear on the program list.
Under Select the preferred graphics processor for this program, select High-performance NVIDIA processor.
Finally, from the bottom right, click on Apply.
Ive done the following above, will update on if it changes anything. the coords should all be set up right on the back of the PC, the display on my monitor is a distinctly different shade when not using the nvidia card,as I found out on my first day of having this PC.
We're very sorry to hear you've encountered issues when playing V Rising. Since this could be the result of many different things, it would greatly help to narrow the potential causes if you would provide us with your .dmp files.
The .dmp files get generated in case of a crash in the following directory:
(%localappdata%\Temp\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Crashes\)
Send the files over to us at logs@playvrising.com, make sure to attach your Steam nickname and a short description of the situation.
We'll gladly take a look into this situation as soon as we receive the files!
it seems like that crashes folder doesnt exist, I found VRising but its empty. I have VRising on a portable hard drive, would that affect the location of the .dmp file?
Hello again, StormWing!
In that case we'd like to ask you to provide the .dmp files from two other locations;
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\backtrace\crashpad\reports
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\StunlockStudios\VRisingServer\backtrace\crashpad\reports
We'd like to ask you to provide files from both locations, get the .dmp files from the upper location after a single player crash, and the bottom one after a server crash.
Send the files over to us at logs@playvrising.com, make sure to attach your Steam nickname and a short description of the situation.
We'll be waiting for your response!
I sent the files as google drive links over email to that address you gave me, ill do my best to keep in touch
