Yeah I wonder the same thing. I come across posts saying they are getting griefed in PvP or by higher levels, but there isn't anyone even playing to grief afaik. I swear people just make up stories to push agendas or some sort of false narrative tactic based off imaginary make believe land.

Griefing will happen and mostly on official servers because there are no admins to take control if ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan. Some mofos used cheat engine to see where players are on the map or added more strenght or power to their characters or dublicated stuff.
Anyway, private servers are more secure where people can report and admins take action. But, then there are servers that are ran by children who use admin powers for their own benefit. Game is fun but you need to find suitable server for yourself.

Also, practice plying solo or friends or in low pop servers because there will not be servers that are always full. Hype will go and people stop playing. Wipe servers will peak after wipe but that's it.

Most people play coop privately with friends, wifes,grilfriends and even their kids. The pvp in this game can be somewhat toxic at times, so ofcourse alot of people just dont wanna deal with it. Its a full PVE game with PVP sprinkled in, and the only good pvp servers are the ones with rules and people with common sense, otherwise it becomes toxic.

So yeah, decent amount of playerbase, most play by themselves or with friends, and im not suprised. I tried PVP server once...that will never happen again.

see... like I said... I bet people talking about how toxic PvP is or what servers are best never tried PvP official. If they did, they probably died once and came up with this generalized narrative about it that everyone regurgitates to push their agenda that PvP is bad. It'll never change. This is how it always goes.

The servers are dead. Can't even find PvP. If you do, it's too far and in-between to play this game for it. However, trying to explain the fun aspects of PvP to people that live in their own make-believe delusion is pointless. They will just keep regurgitating the same mantra, even if it's not true. They die once and make up a whole story using every regurgitated point in the book.
