Castlevania
So, I've been a fan of Castlevania since I was just 5 years old back in 2005. Grew up playing the Original 3 games on the NES (Castlevania II was one of my favorites sue me)

I adore this series, and adore the netflix adaptation mostly because there's little to no Translated works to expand the lore that I love so dearly....

Now fast forward about 20 years and here I am at 4 AM Friday morning when I should be asleep I see a DLC for V Rising, a game I already kinda RP'd as a pseudo Castlevania life sim living as a Vampire in my own castle just enjoying decorating it like a Castlevania Castle.... Now I see theres a full on Castlevania Crossover in my favorite Vampire game (Not vampire hunting game) ..... I don't have the money nor really the time anymore to really play it I think, but hey I'll look into it... Oh... Symphony of the night Maria and Alucard outfits aswell as castle decorations torn straight from Aria, circle of the moon, Rondo and Symphony....Mkay... Mkay... I still... I still just don't have the time... I just can't...

....Then I realize what song is playing during the trailer, the prelude to Bloody Tears... one of my favorite tracks and my favorite version of the song having the actual prelude to the track prior to the main intro and chorus........ ♥♥♥♥...

They need to hurry up and release it so I can jam out to it in my car!

I would be so into this, but... to the people who supported this game in EA etc the pack is MORE expensive than if you buy it with game right now ? That is seriously just a huge a huge nope from me. I can't get why devs are not a bit more grateful to those who supported them with their games EA phase ? This is not even the only game to do this.
Yeah, I'm not paying 22 bucks just to dress as Alucard. The DLC for this game is silly expensive. Not pooping on anyone who made it, I'm just not spending the money unless they put it on sale at some point.

Your opinion has been noted. All of the DLC for the game is purely cosmetic and optional.

Steam stores showing me the castlevania bundle as 10% off at £15.07 rather than £16.75 for just the dlc. Still on the expensive side for cosmetic fluff though

To be fair, I'm pretty sure the licensing for the IP didn't come cheap so the pricepoint for this particular DLC is understandable. This isn't a widespread MMO where there are literally millions of players to help recoup the cost + profit. Based on the playercount, I'm wagering at the current price they're barely making profit off it.

More popular the IP = more $$$ it costs go get licensing = more $$$ passed down to players.

Is anything about this Castlevania DLC a timed 'event'? Or will the DLC be available for a while?
