If you pinpoint on the map you can easely land near any of the shops and disquise yourself without having to fight soldiers.
It is also handy for scouting enemy castles in pvp or just admiring them in pve.
It is also fun to scout some of the area's all over the map as they are quite beautifull.
it is a pvp game and if traveling on the map becomes completly absolete then players will not encounter each other other than raids.
A side from the above post it can also be used to move to specific places quickly.
For example you would teleport in to the nearest way gait turn in to bat and fly over to the silver mine entrance, or the quarts quarry or Solerus’s temple, and when you are dun collecting your stuff, you summon a horse and ride back home
You can even change the setting after you already started. An example path of mine; C:\Users\INSERTYOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\CloudSaves\76561198073081385\v2\9dbaa1e4-f15b-4676-ad54-d022c736359e
After \CouldSaves just search for the folder of your game, go to V2 and just look for the savegame that you need. There you edit ServerGameSettings.json with a text editor and if you don't have it in the file already, copy and insert "TeleportBoundItems": false," (with ") so the first few lines look like this (this is how that part looks in my json)
{
"GameModeType": 0,
"CastleDamageMode": 0,
"CastleHeartDamageMode": 0,
"DeathContainerPermission": 1,
"RelicSpawnType": 1,
"CanLootEnemyContainers": false,
"TeleportBoundItems": false,
If you want to edit more values but don't find them in your save, that's because it only shows modified parameters. D:\Game Related\Steam\steamapps\common\VRising\VRising_Server\VRisingServer_Data\StreamingAssets\Settings There you can find a "vanilla" json with all parameters, just do the same as with TeleportBoundItems and edit the value^^
Are you riding a donkey with a carrot in front of him?
Look out for faster horses and give them a sadle. from what i remember horse go from around 8 speed to 13 if i remember correctly. Stats are always random when u first ride one.
Max speed is 11 and bat form is 10.8
It was possible, thru Socials tab on the right side, while it was open you could fly around and see players in proximity. Corner landing too got nerfed but that was actually a welcome riddance, in fact that shoulda been the only thing they patched for bat form. The bat form proximity scouting shoulda been developed even further, perhaps make bat form slower, somehow visible for players ON the ground just barely (to give some potential heads up if they kept an eye out), and while you're flying you could simply actually see the players on the ground, instead of having to look in the Socials tab. Bat form was the perfect ambush tool, and still could've been, but devs lack vision/drive/motivation/idk.
It's extremely abusive, people still do that anyway with maphack vision and is in fact super broken.
Aint played since the second update launched nearly a year back, how's that one go then?
