Where can I find recipies for iron weapons?

I am in the farm land areas around level 40's and I sort of hit a wall with the games difficulty and figured the issue is probably my gear mainly my weapons and need to upgrade them. They are all merciless copper weapons and from what I looked up online the next tier of weapons is the iron one? I am able to find and mine iron ore, problem is that I don't have any weapon recipies that use iron? Where can I find them? From the wiki I looked up it said Quincey the Bandit King drops recipies for iron weapons, but I killed him a few times and he never dropped any? Am I supposed to keep killing him? Also most of the vendors in the farm areas are heavily guarded and from what I understand require the human form to interact with, but that would require me to beat a boss at a higher level than I am to obtain that ability and I am struggling trying to beat bosses at my level.

He doesn't drop the recipe, you have to suck his blood when he is defeated to unlock the technology / recipe.

Quincey can be found in the Bandit Stronghold in Farbane Woods. Entering the Stronghold requires either the usage of Explosive Boxes or Bear Form's Crush ability. The Stronghold is located dead center-north in Farbane Woods.[vrising.fandom.com]

The Bandit Stronghold is closed off by a wooden gate, you have to use Explosive Boxes or Bear Form's Crush ability on this gate to gain entrance. The wooden gate will respawn after a period of time. So either get Bear Form or make multiple Explosive Boxes in case you keep dying.

Farming Iron Ore :
By far the best place to farm iron ore is the Haunted Iron Mine, which is found in the southern area of the Dunley Farmlands region. Here, you will find approximately 46 iron ore veins that can be mined, along with Hell's Clarion, and chests that have the potential to contain iron ore, sulphur, and bones.

Oh well I am dumb I didn't realize that the iron weapons require a completely different and new crafting station that you unlock when you beat that boss. I went around in the game wondering how I could unlock the recipe for that until I just realized right now I probably already have it and I just need to make a smithy to make them.

If you already beat him you have the recipes. More then likely you haven't built the Smithy which is already unlocked along with the iron weapons recipe. Go back to your castle and take a look.

You can look at what the V Bloods give you after you beat them so that you know what more you have access to in the future. Like when you beat Tristan the Vampire Hunter, he'll give you the recipes for crafting Greater Blood Essences from your Blood Press, and the Iron Greatsword at your Smithy.
