i need gloom rot tree seeds

been chopping trees non stop is there a tool or a type of gloom rot tree i should be on the look out for im cutting down the trees that give gloom wood or whatever or maybye a vender i dont know about? love so help guys x

Vendors sadly don't sell saplings. Chopping Gloom Wood trees should yield a Gloomy Sapling at some point, but it's not a super common thing. If playing on a personal server, you can use console commands to get one as well, worse comes to worse.

Chop both trees in north and south gloom rot, I've gotten about 8 or 9 saplings just clearing land for a new spot and chopping gloom trees for wood and grease

i only ever seam to get pine sapplings from the gloom rot trees

If they are the trees that I am thinking of, you need to chop the NORMAL trees, NOT the ones that give you gloomy wood in that area. Yeah, I wasted hours until I looked up whether the seed even exists. If you don't want to do that anymore, unlock the stygian summon circle and farm the bloody tree.

oh thanks i have been chopping mostly thouse trees i will try the normal kind in gloom rot

I wanted to say that trees from both regions have chance of dropping sapplings. I don't really pay attention to what type of tree that drops them seeing as I'm mass deforestation so the odds of picking up a sapling are pretty good.

I wouldn't waste time farming the trees themselves, I'd use the stygian summoning circle to get gloom wood, curse wood, grape seeds and shroom spores. You also get some tree saplings you can't get as drops in the world like white and pink cherry blossoms, apple trees and weeping willows.

My experience is that Gloom Saplings and Cursed Sapling don't actually drop from the Gloomy and Cursed trees. It drops from normal trees in their areas.

Alternatively, you could use the Stygian Summoning Circle to spawn a few Blood Treants :)

im not sure what the other thing is but chopped down 1800 trees worth of wood regular no seeds from just normal trees in gloom rot south were the trees with the mushrooms on them grow

im not sure what the other thing is but chopped down 18000 trees worth of wood regular no seeds from just normal trees in gloom rot south were the trees with the mushrooms on them grow

You can get all of these drops in the world as well. The cherry and apple saplings drop rarely from those trees (pink/apple in Mosswick, white around Maja's tower) and weeping willows come from the Mortium Dracula Gardens.

I have all of these without ever using a summoning circle in my playthrough.
