Keep buying from shop, that's the only realistic option unless you're Admin. Admin can just give himself with 1 console command, EZ.
20% seems fair .. But damn I hate games doing this repetitive endgame grind.
EDIT : Nevermind, I still need one with decent buffs + element :>
F*ck this grind ..
2)give X
Where X is some item name. Once you start typing you will see an autocompletable drop down, you can navigate it and then press Tab to complete it, then you type in quality.
Example:
give blood [then you use arrow keys to navigate to blood rose potion]
press Tab
press 30
press Enter
You should get 30 Blood Rose Potions, but this works with almost anything, except blood potions, you can't get stuff like 100% Scholar blood potions without modding your server.
You can either have a cake or eat a cake.
There should be something else a player can do other than:
- gank low lvl players,
- doing other PVP activities,
- farming shards for chance of an upgrade
That is it, if the PVP is on. Without PVP enabled there is nothing else.Besides what's the point of getting that weapon in the first place, if there is nothing worth doing with it afterwards?
They don't want to do content for so few players to see.
If you read the forums there is a very vocal crowd talking about how the game isn't difficult enough, how it seems everyone and their mom did Dracula already, how there isn't enough content in the late game. But then let's look at facts illustrated by achievements:
A lot of people bought the game but don't want to play it at 1.0. Only 25% stepped into Farbane woods then players start to burn out between Farbane (25%) and Farmlands(17%). That's almost half of the current player population right there. Then again at Silverlight/Gloomwoods/Cursed Forest/Mortium (10%) again roughly cut in half from Farmlands (progression starts to get grindy, frustrating bosses start guarding critical technologies and you have your first fights that require double shields to succeed).
Only 8% participate in a Mortium incursion, which is pretty much a mandatory part of the progression and also the part which, has the biggest amount of RNG-ness for this game.
Now 8% out of estimated 4-5 million players is still 320,000-400,000 people, but it's still a TINY fraction of the whole population. Roughly 3% of the players completed act 1 in Brutal.
Only 2% went after Dracula at any difficulty so far.
I like the V Rising with 350h+ in-game through Early Access and after release. I highly advise to tweak the game in single player using sliders so those boss fights are bumps in the road instead of road blocks reinforcing negative emotional states due to repeat failure unless you conform to the only optimal playstyle.
