Nibbles the putrid rat is terrorizing my home. Need help!

I'm playing on brutal and I did not expect this rat to be this strong. Now it's in the middle of my base and it's pretty much its home now. How do I deal with the fact it's faster than me, hits super hard and without a windup?

I'm late to the party, but I'd say you have one or two more option: Move the castle to a different location (Castle relocation is in the game now) or build walls around the boss and forget it exists. You shouldn't be drawing aggro through walls.
