EDIT: Was half joking. If you *can* do that, I'd suggest it. Otherwise isn't Nibbles' big thing the little anger-mode into multiple-bite thingy? Could always just focus on dealing with its mobs, then kiting it and peppering it.
I don't mind his bite, it's the massive unavoidable untelegraphed aoe blast that does 80 damage that kills me.
That might be one of the new Brutal-exclusive attacks I've heard about, in which case this is out of my pay grade, sorry. I retreat to my earlier suggestion of borrowing from Poe and Amontillado-ing this thing.
Well, you just got to be atleast his level, then you run both buff skills from blood and chaos magic then trade with him with your melee of choice, but don't tank the multi-bite one tho, pull back once he do that.
Why, well simple once you get to teh level 47+ boss's the difficulty triples up on the boss's.
2 are easy to take out, these are the 2 that enter the iron mine, you just let them duke it outr between each other helping the weakest one out at times, do this right and you can kill both of these easily. after that well good luck continuing.
I gave up after dying to each of the other boss's 15+ times each (except 1, which was the lvl 47 and gave a cosmetic wardrobe and i think the study), other than that i could proceed no further.
The game then took a sh...nosedive into oblivion, became un-fun, obnoxious and frustrating hard as you would have to spend ages grinding and hunting out items to repair your items to fight and fail and grind to repair and fight and fail and spend hrs getting absolutely nowhere. When a game has the No FUN element to it, then its lost the primary thing it is ment to do. for that reason i gave it a thumbs down and am going to throw it in the junk folder.
though as far as dealing with this rat the explosion is on a timer so if you do kinda just get the timing down you can dash further away, this sometimes works depending on how you dashed and how much space you gave yourself as nibbles will stop at the decoy and preferably you aren't in the explosion radius at that point. the multi bite is also dangerous, had a similar issue when i thought i was ready and had no idea it was just going to explode constantly. in my case the castle was basically thrown together so everything was just somewhere on the floor, so i had obstacles in the form of chests to weave around to help put distance between me and the rat.
bring counter spells and time the shockwave, its not telegraphed so you will have to count its cooldown in your head every time. Once you succeed at that it will be easy.
Honestly maybe just give him the castle, move to a new neighborhood, town, start over. Witness protection stuff.
time to move somewhere else
This is pretty much the answer. I managed to wall it off and eventually it disappeared
THINK MARK THINK! YOU have the advantage here!
My archer Nelly did a good job with her fire damage.
