Thanks!
I also suggest boosting how much they bring back in the server settings if you're going to actually use them as having to equip them means you have to farm more mats to equip them and once they're equipped you probably don't need the mats they're going to bring back anyway, even on default settings you can farm more mats in 10 minutes than they can in 16 hours. So using them can be counter-productive.
Yeah I noticed that, I've ramped up my settings for their goods. I like to send them off to gather things that are running low, while I'm busy fighting a boss or something. Thanks for the info!
If you're playing long sessions yourself you can pretty much ignore the servant missions. Exception being areas that give research materials since thats probably the biggest hurdle to progression thanks to the RNG desire to be an interior designer rather than arms dealer.
Absolutely depends what you're sending them out for. There's no reason you can't prioritise servants doing missions for say, cotton yarn and scourgestone, while also sending them back to Farbane for some copper/sulphur, while you get on with something else. And yeah, maximising your research item gain is handy till you have them.
Also fish is an extremely good resource to collect with servants.
Fairly sure you're better off with quantity over quality. I keep meaning to expand beyond my 3 servants, but so far it hasn't happened. I'm too busy creating random new castles that I haven't finished decorating (barely even started).
I'm now descending into the Cursed Forest, because I really want to build a prison tower, and thematically putting it at the back of a lethal forest that curses you to wander around in circles seems very appropriate!
Hah, sounds like a great plan! I love your very apt username
Currently working on the 4th story of the tower. So much iron when every prison tile needs 2!
Maybe then I can finally get on with expanding how many servants I have so I can throw them at missions left right and centre.
