Any way to cover stairs?
As the topic says, is there anyway to cover stairs?

Whenever I make a set of stairs to s second floor I can't seem to figure our how to cover it so the sun doesn't get in. Or give other players a place to land in bat form.

Am I just missing something obvious or is there no way to cover them?

To be clear, you need 8-11 walls - when on the bottom, pl;ace 2 walls on either side, (a total of 4 walls) hugging the stairs - walk to the top of the stairs - place another 4 walls atop the 4 walls below. If the stairs don't go directly into already completed floors, add a gateway with a solid wall atop it covering the base of the stairs, and another gateway at the top of the stairs.

Go up to the second floor and place walls just like you did on the first floor. Fully enclose the area and the stairs will be inside with a roof. Unless you're placing them outside of your castle...

imagine a house where you have to go outside to go upstairs that would suck like its snowing out in the morning and you want some coffee after waking up but oh no the kitchen is on the 2nd floor

I'm not but I have tried putting up full walls and the stairs don't seem to get covered. The first and second floor are roofed but the stairs stay uncovered.

You just have to have walls all around the area that is above it. Same rules as on the first floor.

Got it.

I was missing the wall ABOVE the bottom stairs. Had 2 full walls on both sides of the stairs but didn't have the "last panel" above the bottom stairs.
