How to beat General Valencia?

I'm having so much trouble on this boss. The iron maiden takes all my blood and she dashes everywhere doing lots of damage.

Im lvl 84 and tried axes and pistols using diff builds with the same result. Shes fkin me up.

What helped me was learning to stay on the Back side of the Iron Maiden at all times. It turns very very slowly. so staying on the back side of it means you will never get caught by it. and then you just either kill it like I did or choose to ignore it and fight Valencia constantly moving in a circle to avoid being snatched by the iron Maiden. thats basically how I did it.
That, or bring an inventory full of Blood pots.

Other than that there are no real tricks, other than if you are on a private server you can nerf her HP to next ot nothing to beat her.

I used:
Blood Pistols level 30
100% rogue blood
Blood Dash, Sanguine Coil, Blood Rite, and Heart Strike
All Blood Passives
Grim Gear
Crimson Commander

Basically Walk out of the Stab range when she uses thousand spears poke, Coil when she's out of pistol range and use Pistol Evade when she jump attacks. When she summons the Iron Maiden I wait for the Maiden to act and Dash thru it and Unload with Pistol Q. Finish it off with Coils. Blood Rite for Defense when she hops and tries to kick me into the damn thing and Dash other attacks. I try and save the Pistol evade for her when she wants to close the gap but Sometimes it cant be helped. Her Blood spear rain can be easily side stepped.

Destroy the iron maiden, use a healing gem on a shield such as ward of the damn. Your minions will distract her while you kill the iron maiden. Without it she's basically just a normal boss easily dispatched.

I just used double counters, and focused on avoiding being pulled into the maiden. Made it pretty simple.

I can second this. Ward of the damned plus healing gem, use is when she does her cone attack.
Those minions grant you almost free hits on her and plenty of time to detroy the maiden, plus free healing is a bonus.

I struggled a bit with her on brutal (not sure what she does on normal), what worked for me is ward of the damned, optimally against her spam "stabby cone of death" attack, I actively would try to bait her into it, cause that spawns a lot of skeletons, and chaos bolt/scythe - cause I had to lol.

Honestly I only used scythe cause I had a good one, and chaos bolt cause I have been gearing as caster all this time lol, not cause I wanted to, but using E and chaos bolting that damn maiden to kill it as fast as possible (you have to kill it fast imo, the constant pull effect, and the added attack to her list of trying to push you into it is just terrible).

I tried to save my ultimate (chaos volley) for the second iron maiden incase things are getting too terrible and I want to skip the maiden, and not waste it on the first one where maybe I'll die anyways, reset better.

I will say during my many trials...frost shield/ward of the damned combo really was kinda eating a lot of her attacks while doing ok damage to her....but I had Z dps for maiden xD as I did not have the galls or skills to melee with scythe, so if you can sort something out weapon wise for damage that combination is pretty good.

The shields won't work against the "up from above jump, or rain of spears?" attacks, but it works for all her other attacks...but she is sneaky, she can react to your shielding by trying to lunge from the back....just yikes.

She's even hard to beat solo in relaxed mode. How is she so fast?

I've tried ward of the damned, army of the dead, corrupted skull, ghost knight, chaos volley, 99% rogue, and scythe level 30.

I only managed to get her halfway twice.

And I always bail when I'm about to die or have less than 25% blood pool.

I also used Witch Potion, Rage Potion, and Vampiric Brew.

Someone give me advice please.

I tend to go Veil of Chaos, Ward of the Damned, Mist Trance, Army of the Dead, a good high level bow and Morning Star. Rogue blood for speed boost and damage combo. Draculin if you only care about speed.

Someone mentioned it already and I wanna stress how op frost barrier is against her. I ran frost barrier, ice bat, and raging tempest ult.

She basically have only few moves worth a damn, the dash into stab into slice, both can actually be side stepped and walked away from, So side step and and then walk back. Then her spear stab which is what you wanna see cause you can just frost barrier it for massive dmg return on her. If you can get it point black thats good, if you can't then be close to one of the sides because spear stab flurry lasts longer than the barrier, so you gonna need to get out of the way eventually.

Iron maiden should be focused the moment it comes up, ice bats, ult, etc. She is pretty simple with these strats.
