You simply have to be precise, since there is already few cooldown settings present even as sliders.
"cooldown setting" where?
At best you can get jewels to reduce cooldowns for specific spells and maybe there's armor set with that (though I doubt that).
Plenty of games that allow you to dodge as you see fit, with maybe some limitations like stamina. Not this. Last till it refreshes, or be destroyed.
There is a guy who has made a video where he kills every boss 10 levels above his own with nothing but axes.. this game is 100% about skill. I personally don't have it and would love the option to reduce cool downs as well but to say this game has nothing to do with skill is just a flat out lie.
Yeah. That just about describes every boss fight ever.
It's possible to dodge most attacks by simply moving around... The dash spell is more of a last resort thing to be used strategically for attacks that are harder to dodge. It's not like other games where spamming dodge is a necessity. A game can have slower movement and still be good if the monster attacks match the speed of the player movement. It would only be a flaw to have slow movement and long cooldowns if it made the game extremely difficult for no good reason, which is not the case with V Rising.
There is no need to elaborate anything any further. Your abstract reasoning capabilities should do the rest of the ''elaboration''.
It might be a little troublesome with some adds in coop ( for example, if 8 Styx spawned gargoyles, assuming 4 players, jump one after another to the same player ) but apart from that it’s ok ( shields and counters can help melee players, as well as those who want to lessen the difficulty ).
Try it, you can WALK out of all AOE's and attacks if you pay attention.
