V Rising PVP is a griefer's paradise
Just a word of warning to any considering playing pvp in this game. Normal decent people will inevitably quit playing pvp due to the prevalence of ganking and griefing, so all that's left are the griefers who are generally toxic to boot.

I wish the pvp could work like the dev's intended (at contested resources, raiding, etc), but what ends up happening is random ganking where higher level players will attack when you are engaged with a boss or mobs, and when they have no reason to think you have any loot to be gained (people don't carry good loot in a boss fight).

There's also a fair amount of gate-keeping where higher level players will camp a lower level boss or area to prevent other players from progressing.

It just ends up being a stressful exercise in frustration. Don't bother, unless you're into this kind of pvp of course.

So no real solution, as expected.
Solution is start playing on new servers with low players and be fast, what you want more, sorry for someone stomping you because they leveled faster, you are new player dont be suprised players will kill you because they played longer time, what u wanna hear?

If you dont get hit by them you would win, that is solution, or swollow it and go farming so you can be on their lvl.

You are forgetting that people have other stuff to do with their lives rather than play games and rush to be the strongest, as someone who has no bills to pay or any other concerns in mind rather than gaming 24 hours a day to be the strongest player would do.

It's the developers's job to find solutions to make it so that the ones who play for 16 hours a day, will not stop the progress of those who have much less than that. Because that's exactly what happens when you have a real job, then you decide to play a bit, and there are players 30 levels higher than you farming low level players "for fun".

They could start for example by making it so that you cannot attack players who are 10 levels lower, or something like that. And don't tell me this would ruin PVP.

Just like all the other "pve with pvp open world crafting games like ark...etc.

That's why I only do pve on these kinds of games. Just hope that pvp doesnt ruin this game in things like balancing etc...

that is why i rage quit yesterday.. started a raid with 80% blood then in like 5 mins or so all my blood was gone .. was losing hp.. the owner came naked used a spell killed me , took my armor and killed my partner with it .
just a grind fest.. with lots of greefer camping at boss locations.. sometimes you see a naked guy siting afk at bosses just to get them for free
the small map , the resource locations, the roads every single thing is made to force the player into pvp . even when you are behind and dont want to fight you are forced into that..

First time playing pvp it seems. Not everyone is going to be honorable and do things like think critically think when 50% of the people you're playing are under 12.

I never considered it.

Ive never had this experience in VRising with 300 hours. Perhaps you should try PVE mode?
Mikail May 16, 2024 @ 2:40pm
Wow, are you suprised people killing you when you playing Player vs Player mode?
Yumeko May 16, 2024 @ 2:57pm

tbpf, This isn't a kids game, and it shouldn't be treated as one. The minimal age to apply for an online account in the United States, is 13, or higher. By being on the game (or even steam for that matter) at 12- they are violating multiple laws.

Is there an arena on the PvE side that can allow for PvP without the actual open world PvP? I think it would be nice for people that want to PvP but not like this.

You've just described every single PvP game I've ever played in 30 years.

Cuz they are soft, they needs to tweak their server with 150% dmg and when you call them skill issue they will start crying how game is too hard and too grindy.

They would die in one lobby in MW2.

What is is your solution to high level players ganking boss fights and stopping low level players from progressing?
