How to Brutal

Less than 1% eh?

I've been playing Brutal Solo and Have made it to act 3. I have much advice but if I can provide one leading take away it is to do this.
PLAY THIS GAME LIKE IT IS THE WITCHER 3 ON HARD MODE. HOLD NOTHING BACK, DODGE EVERYTHING, **** THEIR WIVES, DRINK THEIR BLOOD, AND DO ALL THE DRUGS.
That said I will share my build. Longbow is the only weapon you will need. Spells are lightning ball and corrupting skull. Ult is army of the dead.
Take warlock gear and ideally warrior or scholar blood.
Drugs. ALWAYS do your drugs. blue and red. drink them.
The longbow's obscene range and cool downs synergies perfectly with these spells and the skeletons provide just enough distraction to always charge your shots.
Reserve dash for the bosses "Legendary Actions". Line of sight, sidesteps, and keep at range.
Finally. The finest of cheese reserved for the rat king... 3rd party boss baiting.
You can get Bright Archer or General at any level. They will always kill each other. There is no reason not to steal the Vblood asap. This unlocks both lightning ball and skeletons at low lvl.
BANE the Infiltrator. Bane will easily kill Jade, Vincent, or Christina if you lure him to them. Line of sight the match and eat some popcorn while he does the deed.
Many act 1 bosses can be pitted against each other or high level critters as well... like Alpha Wolf vs Goreswine. They are neighbours.
Finally Finally, and this one will make your hair fall out. You can use yours or your friend's castle hearts to make temporary bases on the road near a patrol route. Gather an army of servants at the roadside. And drop the soap.

This thread has a few replies nay saying the cheese. This is a cyclical game. Servers have lifespans and people, like me, who play too much of it will do the cycle many times over.
With that in mind, hail the rat kings who find new ways to abuse the system and move up in the world faster. Of course I've fought Ziva the Engineer on her terms. Of course I'm going to be foaming at the mouth, writhing on the floor when the Spider queen kills me for the 10th time over and I am so tired I tap my prisons to death because I am out of blood and time.
But when you are level 40 or lower again and REALLY want those pistols. Find Jade. Wait at the roadside. And poke the skeleton in the cloak.

Wasnt the case for me. I just went to the iron mine a little bit ago, and Kriig was fighting her, and he was at like 10% HP, Meredith wasnt even at half, was pretty chaotic as there was a ton of other adds and i missed most of the fight

Then You were either not on brutal, or lucky AF. Im currently stuck at Kriig on brutal -> i already watched like 70-80 fights between them, and best meredith was able to do was ~70% of dmg before she died. Sometimes she is even 1-2 hitted by Kriig.

Had no trouble with the frog and spider. both were oneshots on my brutal run. Used a bow with ignite on volley mainly and the undead skull spell that spawns skellies on hit.

There are other bosses that have been more challenging for me so far but to each their own. Everyone has problems with different things so some get stuck at bosses that might be trivial to others. :-)

As an example I Had major troubles beating Bane. Only managed to get past him cause he ended up in a fight with jade midfight on one of my tries and she ended up winning.

Use a bow for krieg and just run circles with him in his room while you keep your distance. I found him awfully easy on brutal doing it like this. Bow has piercing when fully charged so u hit through his minions and theres room enough to stay clear when his minions turn into bombs.

As for the boss battle. Ive seen krieg be on 1% hp after they fight. its not just the bosses but theres minions too. Try clearing all the undead minions as much as you can and then watch krieg having to deal with both meredith and the adds that follow along with her. They do quite alot of dmg to him too. :-)

I just got dracular down on brutal, took me about 5 hours of attempts, super fun fight. Such an awesome game, now im sad its over 😭

A lot of sweat-lords in here. I love how inflated their egos get, thinking that people who cheese give a single rat's wet fart over what they think about cheesing. Let people enjoy the game on their terms. Unless you bought the game for them, you have no leg to stand on telling people how they should play, especially when playing solo and not affecting any other player.

This community has a lot of "sweat-lords" and toxic people that use the game as a mechanic to feel better about theirselves and other people, just a bunch of sad people that doesn't have any kind of love in their lives.

Every game that has PVP attracts this kind of people, it's a shame.
