Raging Tempest has always been super OP imo. It's an insane damage dealer while allowing you to dodge things.
Honestly yeah. Once i'm done with the normal difficulty i'll def play brutal but i'd rather not cheese the fights. I'd rather learn their patterns and genuiely start using potions more often along with just generally getting better. Not just cheesing fights with other bosses.
Both tactics essentially make the point of playing the Brutal difficulty pointless. That little achievement you get from playing it is worthless anyways. Not sure why people pick the hardest difficulty and then act like babies when they play it. Why not just stick with Normal mode and then slightly increase the damage output of the bosses and enemies if normal is too "easy" for you but Brutal is too "spicy" lmao.
Some bosses have been tricky and require some spells switching out but Ive made a conscious effort to keep myself at the same gear level as the boss without over levelling.
Im also not cheesing any of the fights as I wanted to learn and experience the fights as intended as someone else pointed out.
To that end I deliberately waited until a boss was in suitable location to take on. So Kriig and Vincent for example I waited until they would go to their respective arena locations
Do they have a lot of projectiles, constantly attack or string long combos together? Double shield
Do they have openings, but specific attacks with a lot of hard to dodge projectiles/a single combo string? Shield + aoe damage for adds.
Are they an easy boss that doesn't get in your face with dodgeable attacks? Whatever you want to run.
Basically how I've fought every boss. Adam, Dracula and Simon are the only three I have left so far.
