Its easy to use and spammable. You can easily deal with average players using void via mov speed and good mechanical usage of wep abiltiies like the ones that move your character and iframes (slasher Q and pistol E). So, again, it's a classic noob stomper because noobs typically use 1-3 weapons and therefore lack answers, and then possibly non mov speed blood as well.
Average players can typically only dream of landing a void on a solid player or win trades where the void hit.
If a move is good a move is good. Almost every offensive spell requires aim. None of those things prevent void from being the best of the offensive spells.
I got some vids containing void usage from gloomrot where void was better. https://youtu.be/P9_lLi85sfY

And then here on timestamp is a void duel, maybe useful insight. Again 2 duels later from that timestamp.
Arena players typically mix in void into combos which average players basically never do. A simple combo can be cc + void + spear Q.
A more advanced combo can be cc + void + axe E incap + 2nd void + spear Q.
