You bloodsuckers ever build a castle on those plots with two elevations?
You ever run around and notice a lot of the potential home areas have two sections and one of them is higher than the other? I often think about the difficulties in making a home there. You'd have to use two hearts I think. Or maybe not. I never tried. But it could work if you were creative.
Anybody ever try it?

Oh sure. My current run I've got a plot right beside a little ground level one that I'm going to make into a 'vampire town'. It's on a private server, so I might build a third and make a church/graveyard combo close by too.

You don't need two, you connect the two areas with stairs. In fact, you can't build two hearts at all as one takes the whole thing. I recommend building the heart in an area that won't have any stairs to maximise space.

If it all gets highlighted at the same time when you mouse over it on the map, it's all part of the same territory and just takes one castle part. You can put the heart on the upper part or lower part, it just has to touch the ground.

Also, territories with height differences allow you to break the castle height limit, as the height limit (default 3 floors) applies to the highest elevation in the territory. You can build 4 floors up from the lower part.

plot with natural elevation are SS-rank for pvp servers, extremely desirable, don't last even 10min after a fresh wipe unclaimed, those gives you such unfair tactical advantage in raids, is not even funny.

and no, you don't need 2 hearts

I think I may prefer one giant plot as opposed to two mediums. I just found a huge square one east of the Bandit Stronghold and northeast of the Forgotten Cemetery. HUGE! Like China only more hospitable.

I love building on them. I tend to put my castle on the highest most and keep a vast courtyard below. I try to leave large sections untouched so I can get some natural beauty in. Then I build tall on my hilltop castle.

I play PvE but this has a PvP benefit since it offers two layers of protection at minimum and the courtyard can always be changed to a maze or mob spawning factory.

Ahh yes, the courtyard garden. With decorate crap. I like it.

build lower, but encase the tiered part and make the keep there.
so it looks like its 7 floors tall, instead of 6.
