NPC raids?
I decided to try my hand at this game yesterday around 2pm only to realize it was 12 am just a few minuets later. In short, I love it. My only thought is, and yes I am on a PVP server is, NPC raids? I would like to see more defensive reason to staying at base for a bit to defend or patrol. Just a thought is all.

IIRC, NPC raids and an improved servants system has been talked in specific during some interviews. But yeah, would be cool and also serve as an incentive to make use of high expertise servants in PvE who right now don't have much of a practical reason to exist.

Sure they do. They go on loot raid hunts, protect your castle from wild life and passers-bys, stand in the way of doors, pathways, hallways and love to accumulate around your colored teleports. Specifically when you're trying to access them. And depending on who you thralled to be your servant, they can be nice to look at after a long quest. =P

No, but seriously, I have mine about maxed out and they tend to get in the way so I send them out a lot. So I don't have to gather supplies myself. I'm aware of the servant doors. Since they are their cute and do a lot of hustling, I let it slide.

It would be cool though to have NPC raids. Or even an option to be able to have at least one servant with you to fight along your side. Just resurrect them at the coffin if they die.

I'm glad to know the devs are at least aware of this. I hope it's something they implement.

I (as most of the fans of the game) stick only to the PvE gameplay with my friend, and if there was any PvE sieges, like "Goblin's army" in Terraria, but not so lame as in "Valheim", it really can improve gameplay and a little live up the world. You do a fine raid to the Farmlands? After a few hours, prepare to vengeance of the militia, lead with some hero. Kill hundreds at Silverlight? Well, SWAT paladin squad are comin for your castle. But not with harsh penalties if you was defeated or it will be hated a lot. Maybe if players will be defeated, then the castle will suffer a penalty -30% for crafting and refining speed for a hour, locked servants from hunt missions (but which is on the progress, just added extra hour to the mission timer) and idle servants will get injury.

Well, at least it my humble thoughts about it. :BEheart:
