Water Wells
I guess you don't need to build water wells, water your horses, or fill flasks and skins with water anymore, because needing to do immersive and engaging things in a video game is iNtImIdAtiNg to someone out there, presumably.

Already removed my positive review, and at this rate it's not going to be many more lost early access features before I flip it to a negative. It absolutely boggles my mind that a professional game designer thinks removing completed features that literally not one early access player complained about is somehow the right move. Must not play video games or something, in which case the individuals in question are in the wrong line of work.

Ah, so the Water wells are purely aesthetic now? Great...

I really don't get why they removed so many features and customise options.

Please throw a vote or comment in here if you'd like to see them return.

Just my 2 cents, but I think it's because they added a lot of new features that are rather grindy. With the "average" gamer, there's a threshold of menial tasks that you can give them before it cumbersome to play, even if it's incredibly immersive. So I think they probably removed some of the "chores" in order to better target their main sales demographic.

There's just not a lot of backlash for these decisions because the majority of players are going to be either casuals or hardcore PvPers, neither of which care too much about survival mechanics. You could even say that this game is survival-flavored, simply because those mechanics take a back seat to boss rush and pvp aspects.

Shouldnt these things be remedied by having your servants water the plants, the horses, etc?

Sadly it does seem to be the direction they're taking the game. With the current trajectory favouring those two playstyles, I'm expecting them to dumb the castle gameplay down further and further with each update, as much as I'd hate to see that happen.
