How to find own server IP
I've set up a dedicated server with the help of the steam tool and the guides provided on github and the wiki. I think everything is running well(the cmd shows periodic auto-saves)
I forwarded the ports trough my firewall and modem.
I only have no clue how to connect to it. It's not showing up in the server list(i allowed show Steam and EOS in the hostserver file ) and i don't know what to fill in at Direct Connect.
I should note that i am hosting the server from the same computer as i am trying to log in.
If more info is needed i'll provide it.

Check inside log file for line like:
Game server SteamID: <your steamID number here>
Public IP: <###.###.###.###>

You can either use Steam ID or IP inside server search to connect.

Do i need API or RCON allowed for this?

Also, i can't find anthing about a (public) IP.
I've found the following concerning steam ID's:

"Setting breakpad minidump AppID = 1829350
SteamInternal_SetMinidumpSteamID: Caching Steam ID: 76561197960265728 [API loaded no]
PlatformSystemBase - Setting Product and Modir: V Rising
PlatformSystemBase - Server App ID: 1829350
PlatformSystemBase - App ID missmatch!"

" [Server] LoadSceneAsync Request 'WorldAssetSingleton', WaitForSceneLoad: True, SceneEntity: 1490:1
Starting up ServerSteamTransportLayer. GameServer ID: 90071992547409920
Opening SteamIPv4 socket on port: 9876. Socket: 131073
Opening SteamSDR socket on virtual port: 0. Socket: 196610 "

Typing in those numbers into the game server search or steam server search doesnt lead to anything

If you run the server on the same machine, try 127.0.0.1 via direct connect.

I play solo offline on a dedicated server and used to connect that way. These days, since the lobby won't stop refreshing and I can't click direct connect, I just open the console on the main menu and type "Connect 127.0.0.1" to connect to my server.
