keep in mind it's all cosmetic so games update is free to play too!
If I had to say what is the best DLC though, it'd be the most recent one which adds the ability to dye your furniture/wallpaper/etc for your castle.
But if you're not into decorating, and instead care about cosmetics for your character with a little bit of castlevania themed stuff, I'd say the Castlevania stuff for sure.
Which begs the question, why isn't everything you place down dyeable, and it's just the stuff you throw $30 at? Seems kind of like a scummy thing to do.
It really depends on how you play the game, and what you want to do though. If you're going to play it just for the sake of lvling, gearing up, and spending minimal time on your castle, and just getting the basic stuff needed to upgrade/craft. Don't waste your money on any of the DLC, because it won't be worth your time, or money.
I enjoy them all, I use peices from the various DLCs. if you have to pick one then the last one for sure.
Castlevania comes in second, and aesthetically is probably my fave.
Out of all the DLCs, those are the two "best value" in terms of how much you get. Beyond quantity, it really comes down to personal taste. I use stuff from each DLC.
Pools you can't sit in =/, Kinda wish they were like chairs, or a hot tub, where you could sit down inside of them.
I even stocked up on inventory for whatever version 1.1 was going to throw at me. I was prepared and ready to have anything new crafted. On average of about a thousand of everything. Even materials that had to be crafted to be crafted into something else at top tier levels.
Maxed out my servants with Dracula's full set of armor. Everything I had, they had. I collected all 100% blood types, had every in-game armor and cosmetic crafted. Every legendary weapon was collected. The fastest horse. The best rolled attributes for jewels. Beautifully designed castle with a garden and even a stable for the horses. A decked-out graveyard and crypt.
Everything was designed based on symmetry, sacred geometry and using the numbers of this reality. Three, six and nine. The castle had a tree and a small garden in the center that extended to the surrounding second story balcony. It was sweet.
We all spent a lot of time during the 1.0 release. That's why there are some who are coming back to the game to find out the news that the game is still in an early access state and that saves are still incompatible. Everyone believed their saves would start carrying over after the 1.0 release. The other 100 hours or so was me play testing during the first and second stages of early access. It's a great game. Just incomplete.
The DLCs are not worth it to me in the games' current state. I wish I never bought them.
Really depends on your Aesthetic. Nocturnal does allow you change colors but some of them don't work that well with the set... so you'd be better off just staying Purple..
Nocturnal is a more... as the name would suggest... oppulent set.
Castlevania is more edge and traditional vampire with a lot of iconic imagery.
They each have about the same amount of content even if Opulence lets you change colors more reliably. So I would just go on your gut and see which one you like more.
Castlevania
Nocturnal
Eldest blood
Sinister evolution
Castle relics.
