Connection Issues, Lag, Rubberbanding
Playing solo I'm having non-stop "connection issues" and lag that causes the screen to go dark for several seconds and rubberbanding my character. This makes fighting bosses nearly impossible. When a lag spike hits and my character disappears there's no telling where it will pop back in again, and it's usually standing right in the fire. On brutal, one of these spikes = death, making the game practically unplayable.

Anyone else getting these? It's possible the problem is on my end, but I don't have issues with any other programs and I don't see any change in my network load during these spikes, so I doubt it's my hardware or internet connection. I'm just trying to determine if this is a known problem that other people have or if it's just me.

I had this exact problem, even on LAN i was rubberbanding and had the " Conectivity issues " on the whole minimap ( WTF ) but i already have solved it, not exactly get rid of it, but it stopped given me the message on the minimap. Only had minor lag when dodging. There's a thread in reddit with the solution.

The following is what worked for me:

When starting a game, where you choose the difficulty click on Game Settings and enable LAN Server. Then start the game with whatever other settings you want. Then exit the game completely and with a text editor do this:

Edit "ServerHostSettings.json" on your save files and add the following lines in the middle of the file:
"AutoSaveInterval": 120,
"CompressSaveFiles": false,

The file should look something like this:
{
"Name": "nameoftheserver",
"MaxConnectedUsers": 1,
"AutoSaveInterval": 120,
"CompressSaveFiles": false,
"API": {},
"Rcon": {}
}

Change the cpu priority for the executable of the game.

See this registry edit pastebin : https://pastebin.com/tsxbUUkm

This has helped make the more stable for my own experience.
