Solo player - Offiline single or pve server?
Hey folks, so I just started the game and played about 10 hours in my private singleplayer game. (normal difficult, standard configs)

But now I've started to wonder whether I should continue playing a full single player game or whether it's better to join a PVE server and play as a lone wolf in an online experience.

Do you guys can point some pros and cons of each aspect for me?

imo on a pve server the only difference is there are other people playing with you that you can talk to and collaborate with. On a pvp server these people are against you, which is fun in a different way, for some. In either case you're competing for limited space to build your castle too. In pvp people higher level than you can box you out getting the resources you need, or hunt you for sport.

The greatest benefit of playing privately is you can edit your server setting however you like. And no competition for space, of course.
Thanks mate! How about servers wipe? It's something constant or I'm safe for a long time?

Depends on the server, I think official servers are somewhat frequent though. If your castle heart ever runs out of blood essence on an online server the base will start to decay and will be removed by either the server or other players. The point of the resets is to get rid of those max level abandoned castles that can have absurd amounts of blood essence time.

Got it. Thanks buddy, I'll go to a pve server.
Single player sucks. You NEED friends to play this game.

I'm not 100%, but the new duelling feature may have removed the need for PvP servers to a point.

I've always played solo on PvP and the only interaction from other players I've had is either getting chased by a group or singular vampire who is a higher level, simply just running passed eachother, or logging in and seeing my castle has been robbed.

For that reason, I don't think PvE servers miss much from the PvP, which also extends to private.

I'm playing it solo, and I had no problems with both private and PVE servers,. IMO the game is amazing even solo.

Oh cool, so it's possible to have PVP even in a PVE server now?

Not true. 100% solo here and love the game.

It looks as though, yes, but I don't actually know for sure.
