The greatest benefit of playing privately is you can edit your server setting however you like. And no competition for space, of course.
I've always played solo on PvP and the only interaction from other players I've had is either getting chased by a group or singular vampire who is a higher level, simply just running passed eachother, or logging in and seeing my castle has been robbed.
For that reason, I don't think PvE servers miss much from the PvP, which also extends to private.
Not true. 100% solo here and love the game.
