DLC Question

Are they strictly for the person who buys them? Like if I play on a private server with a few friends will they also be able to use the building materials from the dlc as well as the cosmetic outfits/skins?

Only the owner of the DLC has access to what it offers, but they can share craftable items, like the host can craft a special saddle, and give it to other players.

Thanks, I was already hesitant on the dlc due to pricing but that kinda cemented my idea to just pass on any of them.

Indeed you can share the stuff you craft with other without problem :) !
I do that a lot with the Alucard's cloths, there are so stylish :D

There's still plenty to do in planning a castle. Setting up the walls, door frames, window frames, placing countless other crafting and refining stations, placing and organizing storage, planting gardens, placing countless other decorations, all of which can be done without any DLC.
