How worth playing PvE only
Is it mandatory to play Multiplayer pvp etc for it to be fun or it's okay to play solo/duo world for pve only ?

There is still PLENTY to do in that zone for PVE.

you are delusional. you wanna talk about the attributes? okay lets do that:
where is the resource gain buff that was there before?
where the resistances to holy element and garlic and silver and fire and sun ?
where is the movement speed and attack speed bonus combined ?
all of this were the shard buffs before and you got that for buff 2 hours ON TOP OF YOUR AMULET SLOT. if you have no idea how it was before dont talk and dont call stuff "wrong information".

now what are you trying to tell me now? the shard system rework is utter garbage for PvE only players and the new zone is only there for promoting the reworked shard system as its main mechanic the rift incursions are there to refill them when broken and not to promote PvE. its an explicit PvP area because the rift incursions are central mechanic for endgame PvP for shard bearers while for PvE enjoyers its a literal chore being forced to go there to refill a bad replacement to the former buffs.

I understand ALL those buffs are gone but those amulets are STILL good for PVE fighting against mobs.. you make it sound like they are 100% PVP and I'm saying they are not. They are still the best amulets you can wear as a player whether PVE or PVP. That's all I'm saying.

Were the old ones better for PVE? YES but these are still fine for PVE.

And once again YOU still need to farm rift incursions for the shards to unlock the passives and get shards to buy weapon schematics and there are 2 bosses in that zone ALL that stuff is PVE.. IS the zone designed for PVP? YES ok.. but there is still plenty to do for PVE purposes as well it's not 100% PVP as you stated.

I have 720+ hours in PVE ONLY Trust me I know what me and my friends spent our time on..

I have 720+ hours in PVE ONLY Trust me I know what me and my friends spent our time on..

"still fine for PvE" sure. guess you cant be helped then. i have had 600+ hours including EA if you have 720+ hours and accept this change being a PvE player despite the fact that during EA many players begged stunlock to concentrate on PvE more than PvP i cant help you. the shardsystem rework is complete anti PvE and this is the point here. you can call it fine as much as you want but fact is that the former buffs got replaced in favor for a more PvP centralistic system so you know where the priorities are.

and by the way being forced to grind stygian shards for days just to get a fraction back of the buffs you have had with the shards alone before is an utter joke to defend the mortium zone as PvE viable lol.

can agree on that aswell. and no that was not my intention. my intention is to tell new people considering buying the game who have PvE only fantasies like me and you that it became worse PvE wise than as it was before.
PvE is the fun core part of the game, pvp is just slapped on top - if you remove it by playing against computer enemies you will get 95% of experience of any pvp server nowadays (cuz they empty af).
If you want to try pvp - just go for it, but PvE is what makes this game solid and fun experience.

Game is kept alive by PvP crowd. But it needs more PvE specific things for casuals (to have more people playing it). They should also introduce casual PvP mode when player do not die or drop anything (they may change into sheep and have to run from mobs for several seconds ;) ). Players just get scored so everyone knows who won or died and how many times. Give them a crown or something for their effort.

The pvp has a massive learning skill which is super nice. Takes a while to get used to as skilled players will use all 8 slots as weapons. Once you try pvp you cant go back to pve, its just so lackluster and borring lol

The game is intended by the devs for pvp and changes are made at the expense of pve for pvp, but the devs have stated that statistically a lot more people play pve than pvp. If you play for pve rather than pvp, understand there is very little postgame / endgame like diablo or path of exile, killing the final boss is the endgame.

Just sliding in to say you can still bring those back albeit with admin commands, they left them in the game and seem to still work too. (Not contradicting anyone just figured I'd throw that info in if you'd like to bring those back).
