Stuttering/freezing/lagging?
Hi guys,

I'm having issues with performance on this game. Only owned it for 2 days. First day no problem, butter smooth and enjoying it.
Log in the day after and it's borderline unplayable. Constant rubber banding and sometimes just freezing for more than a few seconds.
Ran some connection tests and all seems okay.

Other games like Hellblade 2 ran perfectly on max settings.

Tried the fixes that people suggested for others having similar problems but no luck.
Some info seems to point to it being an issue with the game?

Any help appreciated as I've recently switched from console to PC and don't know what I'm doing.

PC specs -
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D 12 core CPU

2 x 16Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6400MhZ RAM

16Gb Nvidia 4070ti Super GPU

I'm facing the same issues with 4080, even running it on super low graph quality.
Devs would need to patch a lot of performance issues.

Some times I get black screen, nothing can rollback it, I have to reboot once it happens.

Very annoying and I can't understand why it would be fine day 1 and not day 2.

I found similar issues on Reddit dating back more than a year but it doesn't seem to listed in known problems.

Do you think it's worth waiting for a patch that might not come or just get a refund?

I have the same issue. I'm playing a private server with my friend, and I'm constantly rubber banding. It's infuriating.

While the engine still has a memory leak (FPS slowly degrades over time) the big issue I see is server side. Seems to have gotten worse recently, and I'm sure they're aware of it.

I've tried multiple servers, official and unofficial, in the list they show up as <50ms but once you select them they disappear if you have the latency filter active. Simply because it updates and the server ping is actually more around 400-500ms, all of them. Private hosting works fine absolutely no input lag. There's clearly a huge server side problem right now, it's absolutely unplayable for any combat related gameplay.
