jewels and gems

in all of my playthroughs excluding farbane gems, i realize that i have too many gems to spend it on. where do you spend gems on again? aside from pendant of course

oh right... jewels. except silver ingot is way more expensive than the gems themselves. moreover seeing how rng they are, maybe rebalance it so that gems are more spent than dark silvers?

Are you talking about tier 3 gems? that they require darksilver bars to craft? Tier 4 ones do not need any darksilver bars at all in order to craft but cost the amount of gems.

Unless you tweak crafting costs for items you will need a ton of crafts in order to get a god level gem even at tier 4. I personally turned of the cost for item crafts in order to see how many crafts it would take me to get a good one. To get a god level craft for some abilities it took me nearly 60 crafts.

greater stygian as level 4 would be way worse. that is if you're planning to rng that orange level 30 weapon.

but yeah, gems are practically useless. they need to be spent more on the jewels instead of the dark silver / stygian
