That's not true, they left those fat cupboards but they removed the ones that were slim
and looked like bookshelves, i used to have a place full of those bookshelves to be my storage area, even when you have 100% unlocked all the decorations there are no bookshelf like it used to have, i really miss the old ones. What we have now is dedicated storage and the only bookshelves left are the ones that you can only store book and papers.
except THAT is not true - there are slim bookshelf looking ones for paper, herbs, tailoring, potions, blood, and alchemy
What MOST of us wanted was crafting from chests but apparently they have not discovered that technology yet.. maybe they should contact the devs of Nightingale, Return to Moria, Palworld or Enshrouded.
