Fire and Holy potions aren't for elemental resistances. They're for not burning to death and entering holy areas, respectively.
Dash CD can be reduced, but not by much. Avoid damage in other ways.
How else would you control a twin stick shooter like this? You can't use the mouse; that's how you aim.
The only gripe I have about controller is camera control is clumsy.
2)At the stygian altar you can have a passive that boosts all resistances
3)A few dashes(chaos, illusion) have a recast(effectively turning them into a double dash) while high quality rogue blood greatly decreases that 8sec CD
4)Buddy you do realize you can set up any key config you want and are in no way forced to run with the one provided by default ?!
5)Don't use one so i got no pertinent insight to share...
2. I have that upgrade.
3. Yeah i have rogue blood however running a spell build im usually running with scholar.
4. Key bindings dont fix the wasd and camera issues. (this was a design choice and one im not a big fan of, coming from grim dawn, diablo etc) I understand the devs tried to create something unique however my argument is that theres a reason the control design in D4 PoE etc feel so good.
Re Twin stick, D4 nailed it IMO
Dont mind me, im salty about the adam fight.
sanguine coil is unreal, i really should have given this a go earlier. I just really enjoyed my summons and void.
This is a tri-stick game. Gamepads are terrible for this type of game, and not every game needs to be dumbed down to accommodate gamepad users. It's okay to have some games that aren't dumbed down.
And D4 is a dumbed-down simplified game for babies.
Realistically, don't run a single build. Don't lock yourself as a "Blood Build". Use the spells that work best for the boss you're fighting. Some bosses are much easier if you go ham on melee backed by counters and buffs. Others work better if you switch out to projectiles. Some bosses have tough moves that can be completely avoided by a well-timed stealth.
You can kill every boss with any build, but be aware that trying to force a build through the whole game is a challenge run.
LOL! theres a massive difference between "dumbing down" and poor UX. This is about an accessibility issue for people with disabilities and injuries. get back to me in 20 years and let me know how you feel about playing with RSI then...
Tri stick? lock the camera rotation to the character direction and now you have a twin stick.
Learn to have some compassion mate. not all of us are 12.
Damn right!!!
