solo or server?

any reason to play on a server? i played back when it came out and never bothered doing any group stuff really the only issue i remember was servant hunt times but apparently that was changed at some point.

And yes, servant mission timers now continue under all circumstances.

Totally depends on if you want to play with others, want to adjust the server settings, and if you want to pvp.

If you have a group of friends -> Server
Solo-> Host your own game. Joining a random server with other people can ruin your game because you might get tons of loot in old player castles which completely fs your progression.

Is there settings that should be done if you are playing Solo? One thing ruining the game for me right now is the long hours wait for servants and other functions that only seem to tick while running the game. Sure, I can hop in the coffin and leave the game run during the day but that is not ideal.

I'd say server just because if you play solo the game will create a "virtual server" for you to play anyway, meaning it will eat up ram and cpu
