How to talk in global chat?

Can only local chat, Have set the key for global to be G, but just opens local?

Edit: Luckily someone in game helped me out(after the 20 Kill on sight PVPers i ran into :P)

When the chat box is open, Hit enter, it will cycle the chat.
Also to whisper people you type( w/player name ) still not sure of there is anyway to /r like in other games(doesn't work in this one)

Edit2: isn't working anymore.....

Edit3: You now type /g then input your message.

I had these letters disappearing with the message that I'm not in the clan: /t /a /c
/g - global
/l - local
/w {nickname} - private message
"tab" can be used to switch the language

using the TAB key while the chat is active should cycle between channels
