Horse protection from other players

Right now your horse can be claimed by others by simply walking up to it. While this might be fine on PvP servers where fighting is expected, on PvE servers this just means anyone can steal your horse and there isn't anything you can do about it, not even fight back.

Either turn claiming player horses off in PvE or add some way to more permanently "claim" it. This was a problem the whole beta, it shouldn't be a problem still.

Putting the waterskins in the horse would be a simple and consistent way of protecting it. You can't loot other player inventories or chests, why horses either?

How do you rename horses?

Same way you rename chests. There's a little edit icon you can click by the name.
For horses it'll be toward the top right when you bring up their inventory.
