Then there is just random sales. Put game on wishlist and wait. I would say xmas for sure as most of the games I keep an eye on always go on sale then. Except new releases right before.
I think steam has thanksgiving sales as well, but again, who knows if this game would go on.
But I would bet money, maybe win maybe lose, xmas for sure. How much on sale. Hard to say. As release date is may 2024, so game is out less then year.
And review rating is high, but that depends how much faith you put in review section, other then watching videos, to see if it is a game you would even really like to have.
Me personally? I don't consider anything not scary a Halloween game, movie or costume. I'll let the cute adult costumes slide. As most teens to adults love to get in the spirit of Halloween, they tend to play or buy scary games to enjoy alone or with friends to get scared and have a few laughs.
For V Rising, although not 100% scary, it can be with certain bosses on brutal. The first initial approach of a boss that looks intimidating. Or the fear of losing to them when you get them down to real low health and you lose your cool and start mashing buttons and die when you should not have looked at the health and just focused on survival.
It's my go to game after playing a scary game and wanting to calm things down for the night. Although not scary, it holds the Hollywood Halloween theme of vampires and monsters.
They gave away a free Halloween themed DLC one year. Whether they have something special n the works this year, we shall see. It may be a sale, minor update, major update, another paid or free DLC. Halloween is V Risings celebration time. As Alien Day is the Alien franchise celebration time.
It's on sale right now on GameBillet for $22.99 USD (34% off).
You only need the base game to play. You don't need all the dlc which is just skins and stuff to support the devs. You just need the game to play.
If by chance when you read this it's no longer on sale, you can check https://isthereanydeal.com/
Like most websites including steam... They have a different price for other regions. Should you go to GameBillet, it will change to your region and give the discounted price for your region.
edit: it still high price
